Víctor Rejón has a degree in Social Communication from Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán, and he studied Film Production at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. He is a graduate of the Documentary Video Making Workshop of Ambulante Más Allá, A.C., founded by actors Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna, where he directed the documentaries Sanjuana, about the suicide in Yucatán, and Decompression, about the risks of diving in Río Lagartos, Yucatán. The latter, winner of the First place in the Regional Short Film Contest “Sureste en Corto” 2017. He directed Voices from the Abyss with the support of the Mexican Institute of Cinematography.

Irving Serrano studied Film Production at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica and received a Bachelor's Degree in Cinematography at Centro. In 2021, his short film A Charming Man obtained an honorable mention in Shorts México. He produced the short film ¡Beso de Lengua! that won as best Mexican short film in Guanajuato International Film Festival and was selected for Tribeca 2024. He directed Voices from the Abyss with the support of the Mexican Institute of Cinematography.
