Spreadsheet Champions follows six students from around the world as they compete in the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship, an elite global contest testing mastery of Excel. As they prepare for a high-stakes final in Florida, the film reveals their personal struggles, ambitions, and the transformative power of an unlikely skill—turning spreadsheets into a path toward opportunity, identity, and future success.

THE FILMMAKER

Kristina Kraskov is a documentarian with a keen interest in unusual, subversive imagery and stories. Her directorial work includes the quirky yet heartwarming feature ‘Spreadsheet Champions’ as well as the Vice original ‘Party in the Back’ and the Web series ‘Suburban Legends’, which has over 2 million views. She is also an award-winning documentary photographer and has featured in many photographic prizes including the NPPP and Iris Awards. Alongside filming her own titles Kristina is a freelance Shooter Producer.
