MEMORY WARS
American psychologist Elizabeth Loftus is world-renowned for her research on the unreliability of human memory. In the age of “fake news,” her expertise in high-profile criminal trials is more in demand than ever—and no less controversial. Since the 1970s, Loftus has studied the fragility of memory and become one of the world's most influential psychologists. Her expertise has been sought in major court cases involving war crimes, the Oklahoma City bombing, Iran-Contra, Michael Jackson, Harvey Weinstein, Rodney King, and others. Through conversations with Loftus and material from landmark trials, Memory Wars explores the tension between truth and justice while examining urgent issues ranging from misinformation to the #MeToo movement.
